I have been a professional artist since the mid-1980s when I started out as a freelance artist in Malibu, CA. By 1987 I was showing in galleries in the Los Angeles and Palm Desert areas and was a featured artist in the Feb. 1987 issue of Palm Springs Life Magazine. My works have since been advertised or featured in Art Gallery International, Southwest Art, American Art Review,
New Mexico Magazine, The Bootheel, and several issues of New Mexico Traveler of which I was one of their
annual featured artist for their 2005 issue.

It is important to note that my works were requested by Art Base Gallery in Singapore in the 1980s giving me international recognition before the advent of the Internet.

I most enjoy doing portrait and figurative work of the human female figure in both my paintings and bronze sculptures. I do however also enjoy doing large paintings of various landscape themes, especially those of the Greek Isles and American Southwest. My educational background is that of an Anthropologist/Archaeologist which sparks my interest in the human form and architecture.
As a painter I work in Acrylic, Oil, and Watercolor. I love watercolor for my figure work.

My bronze sculptures vary in subject matter so not to create a cookie cutter style. They also vary in size from small simple busts to nearly 6 foot tall works like my Lady of the Lake sculpture.
